July 2016 Empties

Another day, another post about empties that are months old because I’m so behind on this part of blogging! Today I’m sharing my July 2016 Empties, yup, there was a lot of garbage.

july-2016-empties-2To start off with I finished up my bottle of Paula’s Choice Resist Perfectly Balanced Cleanser, which was a nice moisturizing cleanser that I would consider replacing if I didn’t have a trillion more cleansers to use up. Same thing goes for the got2b Mind Blowing Quick Shape Mousse, which was great for curly hair. I really love the Live Clean Argan Oil Shampoo and Conditioner, and luckily I have two more giant bottles to use up next. The Dial Pomegranate & Tangerine Hand Soap smelled delicious but I have more hand soap (and also lots of shower gel I can use as hand soap too). Finally, I really loved the Reversa Anti-Wrinkle Cream SPF 30, although I wish the packaging hadn’t flaked off like that, but I believe i also have another container of that already…

july-2016-empties-6A few makeup products made it into my July 2016 Empties as well, including the Covergirl Clump Crusher Mascara, which definitely lived up to the hype, and the essence Lash Mania Reloaded Mascara, which I don’t especially remember but I felt like it was old? Also another ELF Wet Gloss, which used to be my brow mascara but now my tubes might be too old and there doesn’t seem to be much/anything in them.

I’ve also go mini Benefit Benetint and Benefit Sunbeam, which still took awhile to use up despite being super tiny, and I liked both but I’m kinda over the Benetint because it’s not super easy to apply, and I have other highlighters but Sunbeam is one I might consider in the future. Finally, the Neutrogena Tinted Moisturizer is disgustingly old so I decided not to finish it despite working so hard to get that tube used up…not counting it as an empty, just wanted to show you how close I got!

july-2016-empties-4Of course, there’s always TEA. My July 2016 Empties includes DAVIDsTEA Coco Colada which was a good herbal fruity iced tea, and DAVIDsTEA Pineapple Mimosa, which had a bit too much of the champagne-mimosa flavour to it for me, but was still good iced. My favourite of the three is definitely DAVIDsTEA Raspberry Mojito, so I hope that DT brings it back again in the future (this is the second year).

When it comes to caffeinated tea, I finished up the DAVIDsTEA Cardamon French Toast, which I loved and yes I have many more bags (although they did bring that tea back this season), as well as DAVIDsTEA Pumpkin Chai, which I also really like and have more of although it’s not my favourite chai of theirs and I wish Pure Chai hadn’t been discontinued. I also finished up a bag of the holiday tea, DAVIDsTEA Hot Chocolate, which was also delicious and fortunately I have some more stocked up. But I still hope it returns.

july-2016-empties-5I had two candles, White Barn Peach Bellini and Nectarine Green Tea, both of which I loved. I had two more teas in my July 2016 Empties, which were DAVIDsTEA Melon Drop, which is a nice fruity herbal (again, iced tea addict) but not super flavourful and quite heavy, which means it’s expensive. I also had a little DAVIDsTEA Caribbean Crush sample, which I liked more than I thought I would, given the coconut, but I really need to stop buying tea.

And that’s it! Someday I’ll photograph the empties for the rest of the year and ramble about them…someday!
