It’s probably the point where, with the month almost over and me still a decent bit behind, I admit defeat to Julep July. I couldn’t quite manage to meet the one-a-day Julep posting I had planned, but I’ve still made a decent dent in sharing my stash, and that continues today with Julep Nellie.
Julep Nellie is a “pink fuchsia creme” which I’ve been wearing on my toenails quite a bit this summer, and it honestly has a perfect formula. It was nearly opaque in one coat although I ended up going with two, and it’s self-leveling and extremely glossy (no top coat in these photos). At some point, pink polishes can start to blur together, but the fantastic formula means that Julep Nellie definitely has a place in my collection.
In terms of wear, I mainly tested Julep Nellie on my toes where it has done a great job lasting (but most polishes do). However, I definitely recommend grabbing Julep Nellie if you see it on sale and are looking for a gorgeous dark pink because the application on this is amazing!
