Whoops, it looks like I’ll be gone from the blog mostly over the next few days, but yay for spontaneous trip to the beach. In the meantime, I didn’t want to leave you with no posts this weekend, so I have to share this pretty “magenta purple creme” polish, Julep Evelyn as I get increasingly far behind on Julep July.
Julep Evelyn is a gorgeous colour (I do love my purples) that would be great in the fall but has something bright enough about it that makes it work even in the warmer months. It’s very sheer in one coat but is pretty much opaque in two, and I find it gives an incredibly glossy very pretty finish. It’s not one hundred percent flawless in finish, but it’s definitely a polish I’ll be reaching for in the future and I kept it on (with an accent of Julep Shoshanna, review coming soon) for a couple days after swatching and had no issues with the wear.
Julep Evelyn was part of a duo I grabbed during a Julep sale for $5 and I’m definitely happy I got it after skipping out on a pretty tempted December box. Most Julep polishes make it to sale prices eventually, and I’m going to blame my massive collection of them on that and call it a day…
