I’m always excited when I qualify for another VoxBox as a part of the Influenster program that gives access to products in exchange for reviews, and the one I have to share today is the imPress Manicure Canada VoxBox* which came with two sets of imPress manicures. These are fake nails that adhere using a sticker you peel off the back off, but what sets them apart is that they are available in “short” which makes them a lot more realistic than traditional stick on nails.
I actually reviewed imPress nails before as a part of a previous VoxBox (shared here) but I’m always up for trying them out again, especially because there are so many different designs. This time I got a silver crackle and a lace pattern. The sets include 24 nails which gives you lots of options to find ones that fit, and it did a pretty good job for me, but if your nails are a particularly unusual shape you might have issues using them.
Although the imPress Manicure Canada VoxBox claims the nails last up to a week, I definitely can’t get them to last too long because I fiddle with my fingers, so I really only get about 2 days of wear out of them. That said, it’s a fun way to get a pretty pattern without much work, and I think these would be a great solution if you have a formal event and your nails are not prepared. For daily wear, I will stick to nail polish.
How do you feel about press-on nails? Have you ever tried the imPress brand before?
