After our amazing trip to Brier Island, I’m already brainstorming my next roadtrip. With that in mind, today I’m collaborating with FRAM to share a few ways things you can do to get road trip ready!
I’ve never thought to change my cabin air filters before, but you can actually do so with the FRAM Fresh Breeze Cabin Air Filters! A road trip likely means sitting in the car with the windows closed for a long time, so you want the air to be as fresh as possible. The FRAM Fresh Breeze Cabin Air Filters can remove up to 98% of dirt, dust and allergens! Having a dirty, clogged cabin air filter can also reduce the efficiency of your heating, defrosting and air conditioning, which are all pretty important on the road.
I put together a little tutorial sharing how you can change your FRAM Fresh Breeze Cabin Air Filters. I had no idea my air filter was hiding behind my glovebox–which is a really difficult to photograph with one hand, but not very difficult to access. The instructions might be a little different for your car, but luckily they come inside the box and are easy to follow. You can find out which filter is right for your car here.
The best part is, the FRAM Fresh Breeze Cabin Air Filters are the only cabin air filter to use the natural deodorizing qualities of Arm & Hammer baking soda plus activated carbon to help absorb and eliminate odors. So your car will smell nice and fresh for your road trip too. And that’s pretty important!
In addition to changing your cabin air filter, you can change your engine filter too, with the FRAM Engine Air Filter. When you’re changing your air filter, might as well change your engine filter at the same time. That makes it really easy to remember! In most cars, you can change an Engine Air Filter in five minutes or less with simple tools. An Engine Air Filter prevents dust and dirt from entering and damaging your engine, which is the last thing you want on a road trip! Having a clean Engine Air Filter can help increase acceleration, horsepower, and overall engine performance.
Once my car is ready to go, there’s a few beauty essentials I also like to pack on a road trip. There can be a lot of sun even while sitting in the car, so I make sure to apply some SPF and I really love the Dermalogica Protection 50 Sport. I can also feel pretty gross sitting in the car so long, so a refreshing mist like the Caudalie Grape Water is perfect. Finally, my lips always dry out on the road and the tarte Rainforest of the Sea Quench Lip Rescue in Nude is the perfect hydrating balm with a slight tint of colour, making it easy to reapply.
It’s easy to get your car road trip ready with the FRAM Fresh Breeze Cabin Air Filters, so now all you have to do is plan your next trip!
Do you have any road trips planned? Have you ever changed your cabin or engine filter before?
