Get Ready for Summer with Alba Botanica Sunscreens

Get Ready for Summer with Alba Botanica Sunscreens 2

If there’s one product I think is a year-round must-have, it’s definitely sunscreen, but it’s even more important during the summer when you’re spending more time outside. I recently received an adorable package in the mail from Alba Botanica (see it here) featuring their range of sunscreens.

Alba Botanica Sport Sunscreen

There are three different variations of the Alba Botanica Sunscreens, but I’m going to talk about them all together because I couldn’t find a difference between them, and neither could Julie. The Sport, Kids and Facial variations all have same ingredients in the same order, although they could contain them in slightly different amounts? That said, no matter what label they put on it, Alba Botanica makes a great sunscreen!

Alba Botanica Kids Sunscreen

The Alba Botanica Sunscreens come in a tube or a spray bottle format. I always prefer the ease of a spray bottle, although this is not aerosol so you definitely still have to rub it into the skin. I tested out the Alba Botanica Facial Sunscreen during a very sunny 5K race last weekend and it did a great job protecting my skin. In terms of consistency, it has a runnier formula that absorbs in well and doesn’t leave behind a greasy residue or white cast (at least not noticeably to me). Even better, the sunscreens are all water-resistant up to 80 minutes, which is perfect for days at the beach–they’re coming, I swear.

Of course, not only do the Alba Botanica Sunscreens have great results, but they also have great ingredients, in terms of both what they put in and what they leave out. These SPF 40 sunscreens contain lavender and aloe vera to help soothe the skin, as well as green tea, chamomile and echinacea. These sunscreens also have no parabens, sulfates, or synthetic dyes.

Honestly, the only time you notice a sunscreen is when it’s not doing its job.  If you want a sunscreen that uses more natural ingredients, is cruelty-free, does not leave a greasy residue or white cast and protects your skin? I definitely recommend the Alba Botanica Sunscreens.

Have you ever tried anything from Alba Botanica before? I’m always eyeing up their shampoos!
