I’m always looking for haircare that’s going to add some shine and moisture into my hair, and if you add in a delicious scent it doesn’t hurt. I’ve recently been using the Garnier Fructis Fruit Sensation Grapefruit Tonic Shampoo* and Conditioner*, which is meant for normal, dull hair and has a delicious grapefruit scent.
I really love fresh citrus scents, so I had actually bought a bottle of Garnier Fructis Fruit Sensation Grapefruit Tonic Shampoo that my boyfriend mainly used up. He wears a hard hat at work, so his hair tends to get greasy rather than dry like mine. However, he used up a previous bottle and also enjoyed the scent. This time around I’ve been using it as well, and although I love the scent, it’s not quite moisturizing enough for my hair.
I follow up with the Garnier Fructis Fruit Sensation Grapefruit Tonic Conditioner which has the same amazing scent, and actually leaves my hair smelling slightly of it afterwards (Seriously, so yummy!) Although my hair looks alright if I just use these two products, it definitely benefits from some styling products as well because on its own the conditioner isn’t powerful enough to really keep my frizzy hair under control. Even though it claims to help with dullness (my hair does look fairly shiny after using it) it also says your hair will be weightless–honestly, my conditioner needs to weigh down my hair for it to do its job!
I have to occasionally use a hair mask when sticking with the Garnier Fructis Fruit Sensation Grapefruit Tonic Shampoo and Conditioner, so unfortunately, it’s just not moisturizing enough for my hair. That said, it obviously smells amazing, so if you aren’t looking for haircare that is really intensive, these are definitely worth checking out and I know my boyfriend won’t have any issues finishing up that bottle of shampoo!
Have you tried the Garnier Fructis Fruit Sensation Grapefruit Tonic Shampoo and Conditioner before?
