I’M BACK! In between moving an hour and a half away this weekend, and an internet step up issue that took two days to fix, there’s been a bit of radio silence on Writing Whimsy. Obviously post-move I’m pretty swamped and things aren’t really set up yet, but I do have some photos and products I’ve been testing and am ready to share, starting off with the Garnier BB Eye Miracle Skin Perfector*.
Garnier BB Eye Miracle Skin Perfector comes in a small rollerball format, that you can use to apply the concealer-like formula under your eyes, and then I gently blend it in with my fingertips. I have it in the shade fair/light which is a good match for my skintone and helps provide a brightening effect (the skin on my arm where I swatched it is lighter than my face). As a concealer product it’s not super pigmented, and I wouldn’t use the Garnier BB Eye Miracle Skin Perfector anywhere but my eyes, but it does a great job there. Fortunately, I don’t have dark under eye circle and my favourite part is applying it, the metal rollerball is cooling and feels really nice on tired eyes. It reminds me a bit of the ELF Eye Refresh but with the added concealing benefit.
There are limited shades of Garnier BB Eye Miracle Skin Perfector which will always be an issue for some skintones, and I can’t say how good a job this product does fighting dark circles in the long term. However despite being a mainly unnecessary product for me I still enjoy the brightening and the cooling effect of the Garnier BB Eye Miracle Skin Perfector.
What do you use to conceal under eye? I’ve always been more concerned with hiding blemishes than dark circles, but given how nice this feels, I might be swayed.
