Last month I share part one of my Fresh Holiday Gift Guide, which included two of the less expensive items released this year which are the Fresh Fix and Fresh Sugar Cravings Kissing Trio. This time I’m back with two pricier picks–although regardless of the cost, all the Fresh Holiday Sets are really a great deal and a fantastic time to stock up (or, you know, gift to others…) I was sent the Fresh Sugar Legends Gift Set* as well the Fresh Sweet Nudes Set*. Also, side note, but I appear to have swatched these in the wrong order, so I apologize about any confusion.
If you love Fresh Sugar Tinted Lip Treatments–and I mean, I very obviously do–then the Fresh Sugar Legends set is an amazing gift to give or receive this holiday season. It comes with seven shades, giving a great range of minis that are half the full size. I haven’t tried all these shades before (I do have reviews of Cherry and Berry up on the blog) but I am very excited to have expanded my collection (which you can see on instagram). I absolutely love these lip balms because of the citrus scent, and how they really are lip treatments that leave my lips feeling better, while also providing a hint of colour (some shades are more subtle than others). I’m really excited to now have Tulip and Passion, but I will be getting use out of all the shades in the Fresh Sugar Legends set. The great thing about this brand is that even though these are minis, the quality is exactly the same. In some ways, I kinda prefer the minis because they are so adorable and with very pigmented shades like Cherry can be easier to apply. Well, the truth is I love them all.
The second set in my Fresh Holiday Gift Guide is Fresh Sweet Nudes, which includes four shades, all of which are very subtle, and well, nude. There’s also the Fresh Sugar Lip Polish in a mini format, that is great for travel. I hadn’t tried the scrub before, but although I do like the brown sugar/citrus scent, as well as the fact that it leaves behind a bit of protection for my lips, it does have an unexpectedly bitter taste, so make sure to wipe it off. I actually always wipe off my lip scrubs cause the whole eating my dead skin thing seems gross, but I had to taste this one after hearing it was bitter and not believing it, but sadly it’s true.
It’s pretty clear I would recommend any of the offerings from both part one and part two of my Fresh Holiday Gift Guide. I only wish I had more parts to share with you, because I am in love with this brand. This is a fantastic way to try out their products, and the sets have gorgeous packaging for gift-giving, and I will be reusing the boxes they come in. I personally would go for the Sugar Legends set, because I love the larger variety of shades, but both sets are very lovely and a great value. Are any of the Fresh Holiday sets on your wishlist this year?
