February Favourites

Honestly, February seemed like a terrible month for favourites, and there’s a reason there’s basically no makeup on the list. I feel like I actually didn’t wear much makeup besides concealer on a lot of days, and those days I did, well, I’m still working on the project pan. It was a really stressful month, so my favourites are mainly things that helped me relax. Ultimately, I came up with 7 February Favourites, so hopefully this will be a short post for a short month.

February Favourites 4It’s probably not much of a surprise after my gush-fest of a review, but I absolutely adore Chloe Roses De Chloé Eau du Toilette* (review), it smells like fresh roses and although it’s not the most wintery scent, and I’m still working on a separate perfume for my Project Pan, I know I’ll be dousing myself in this as the snow starts to melt (if that ever happens).

I have a second scent in my February Favourites although it’s one I use as a room spray because it really doesn’t last long, but for the time it’s around, it’s magical, and that’s Demeter Fragrance Sugar Cookie* (review). Such a yummy scent to have around!

February Favourites 2

In terms of makeup, I really only have one product in my February Favourites but it definitely deserves to be there, and that’s Maybelline Master Glaze Pink Fever* (review), a gorgeous cream blush that looks very natural on my skin and applies perfectly. I have a second shade I’ll be reviewing this month, but Pink Fever is my favourite so far.

That adorable little owl is actually the cutest hand cream ever, Etude House I Can Fly! Eagle Owl Hand Cream and this is a favourite for two reasons. The first is that it’s so cute and the lotion inside is quite nice too. The second is that this was part of an amazing giveaway prize I won (see the rest of it on my Instagram) from Chantal’s Corner, and it was so sweet of her to host and so much fun to win, that receiving that prize was easily a February Favourite of mine as well. I’ll be doing a quick review of this little lotion soon.

My polish favourite this month probably looks a little familiar, and that’s because another shade was featured in my January Favourites, but this month I’ve been loving LA Girl Brilliant Blue*, a gorgeous scattered holographic jelly that I’ll have a review and swatches of on the blog in the next week or two. This 3D Effects line from LA Girl is really amazing, and I definitely want to pick up the few shades I’m still missing.

February Favourites

Finally, I have a couple products for better relaxation, starting with Aromatherapy Associates De-Stress Muscle. I picked up a very discounted mini set of these post-Christmas in London, and I have tried a few so far both as bath oils and body oils. I used this one in the bath (I only need about a third of the tiny container) and the next morning my muscles felt so relaxed and nice. I almost wish this hadn’t worked because these are very pricy, so I’ll just be enjoying my little bottles for as long as they last.

The last product I’ve been loving is Lush Tender Is The Night* (review) which is a product released for Valentine’s Day but it is sticking around Lush’s permanent collection. The scent of this is incredible, a vanilla and jasmine mix that needs to be made into a perfume. The bar itself is really nice to use on your hands for some moisture and scent. But honestly, sometimes I just like opening the tin and smelling it.

February Favourites 3Well there we go, 7 February Favourites. Like I said, this wasn’t the best month and I’m very glad it’s over! March is already off to a good start, as yesterday my boyfriend and I celebrated 5 years together. There may have also been a Lush giftcard involved!

Have you tried any of these products? What were some of your February favourites?
