Hey it’s my February 2016 Empties! Yes it’s April! But it’s here!
I’ll start off my February 2016 Empties with some things that really do look like garbage. I mean, all empties are garbage but samples just look the worst. The Fekkai PrX Reparatives Shampoo and Conditioner were actually really great and I would definitely be interested in them although if I can’t buy shampoo at the drugstore it doesn’t usually happen. I don’t think I noticed anything special about the John Frieda Frizz Ease Shampoo, Conditioner and Repairing Creme Serum, but it’s also so hard to tell with foil samples. I’ve reviewed the Nivea In-Shower Body Milk before and I still really like it but go through it pretty quickly. Finally, this Pearl & Daisy Orange + Vanilla Bath Fizzer smelled like creamsicles and I loved it.
I really adored THEFACESHOP Foot Peeling Mask* and it’s definitely something I would buy sooner rather than later to do again. The 7th Heaven Cucumber Peel-Off Mask* was fun but smelled too much of alcohol, I love other ones from the brand though. The Vichy Calming Cleansing Micellar Solution is a billion years old but it took me so long to get through this giant bottle. I liked it but the pump was annoying because it sprayed everywhere.
This Body Drench Hemp Lotion was nothing special including the scent, but I definitely enjoyed The Body Shop Body Butter in Mango* (just not as much as Satsuma!). I always love my Demeter Fragrance in Sugar Cookie* and I have been through quite a few bottles at this point. I highly recommend this scent if you are looking for a delicious room spray!
There’s even a few makeup products in my February 2016 Empties including the Dior Diorshow Mascara in Brown* which is not my usual shade and I didn’t use that much since I prefer black mascaras. I’m also tossing the L’Oreal Miss Manga Rock Mascara* which actually grew on me and I did enjoy it. The tiny Kiss Gel-Strong Top Coat* was nothing special and I mostly just wanted to finish something so I focused on this bottle. There’s a little bit left in my essie Matte about You Top Coat but it’s no longer usable. I highly recommend if you are looking for a great matte top coat.
I loved this Avon Vanilla Buttercream Candle* as well as the Yankee Candle in Sparkling Cinnamon. I bought a few of these DAVIDsTEA Matcha Single Serves when they were being cleared out and I love making lattes with them and wish I bought more, especially since the Mocha Matcha has been discontinued.
And the final slew of tea in my February 2016 Empties are mostly ones I’ve been drinking iced (and honestly, a pitcher of iced tea uses quite a bit). There’s DAVIDsTEA Melon Drop* which is delicious and was actually brought back this year again, but it’s quite heavy because of all the fruit which makes it expensive. I also finished up DAVIDsTEA Shirley Temple which I don’t remember being especially in love with and DAVIDsTEA Cherry Snowcone which I adore (both hot and cold!) Finally I have a bag of DAVIDsTEA Spiced Apple which is a pretty nice apple tea but I prefer Spiced Pumpkin.
