Fall 2014 Releases from Kiss Lashes and imPRESS Press-on Manicures

Fall 2014 Releases from Kiss Lashes and imPRESS Press-on Manicures 2I was recently sent a large surprise package that included new Fall 2014 releases from Kiss Lashes* and imPRESS Press-on Manicures by Broadway Nails*. However, since I have already reviewed imPRESS nails twice on Writing Whimsy and don’t frequently wear false lashes, I decided to do a quick post sharing these releases with you so you know what to look for starting this August! To stay up to date on what’s showing up in my mailbox make sure to follow me on Instagram!

Fall 2014 Releases from Kiss Lashes and imPRESS Press-on Manicures 4From left to right the Fall 2014 Releases from Kiss Lashes are: KPLD01, KPLM01, KPLD02 and KPLM02. There’s also a fifth new style, KPLD03 (a second natural style similar to KPLD02). Each package comes with an applicator but does not contain glue, which seems fairly standard with a lot of the lashes I’ve seen, or if it does come with glue it comes with really crummy glue, but that’s something to keep in mind when purchasing. The lashes are made of 100% human hair and they are reusable.

I don’t usually review false lashes because as pretty as they can look they aren’t something I bother with often, but for those looking for some affordable falsies, these new Fall 2014 Releases from Kiss Lashes are definitely worth checking out. Both the double and multi-packs have glam and natural looks, and they are a very affordable optional, $6.47 for two sets or $12.94 for five sets, available at Wal-mart. I tend to go for a more natural lash that still helps add a hint of glamour, so my design of choice is KPLM01.

Fall 2014 Releases from Kiss Lashes and imPRESS Press-on Manicures 3From left to right, the Fall 2014 Releases from imPRESS Press-on Manicures are: Glitz & Glamour, Vamp it Up, In The Spotlight, Night Fever, Dancing Queen and WinkWink. These designs will all be a part of the permanent collection, available at realtors like Walmart, London Drugs, Uniprix and Lawtons.

In terms of my experiences wearing imPRESS Press-on Manicures, you can check out my previous two reviews here and here on if you’re interested in seeing what the nails look like applied. Quick summary: these work really well depending on your nail shape and length. They work for me, but on a day-to-day basis I do prefer the ease of regular nail polish. There are some pretty designs among theĀ Fall 2014 Releases though and I can definitely see myself using Night Fever or In The Spotlight for a fancy occasion. Or just because I want to feel glamorous.

There’s a quick little post summing up some new releases you can expect to see on the shelves any day! Let me know if you have tried either of these products before, I’d love to know your thoughts on the brands.
