You know when you have sorta brushed off a product for a long time and then you try it and it turns out to be awesome and you regret all that time you spent not giving it the love and attention it desires? Well that’s exactly what happened to me when the Too Faced Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush in Peach Beach and Something About Berry showed up in my mailbox.
I had seen the Too Faced Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blushes online, but I was a little deterred by their bulkier packaging–it is a baked product–and the shimmer. Turns out these adorable blushes look super natural on the cheeks and come in several lovely, buildable shades. The packaging is a bit large, but it’s so cute I forgive it. There are currently 4 blush shades available, and I have the two of them to share with you!
The Too Faced Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush in Peach Beach consists of a shimmering peach, rose pink and light golden bronze shade. I always swirl these blushes together because you’d need a pretty small brush to use an individual shade. Together, it gives a rosy bronze nude that is really flattering and easy to wear. Although buildable, it’s definitely a shade for lighter skintones, but I absolutely love the end result.
The Too Faced Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush in Something About Berry consists of a mauve pink, golden peach, and magenta pink. Blended together the shades give a medium pink with a golden shimmer and slightly cool undertones. This shade is a lot more pigmented than Peach Beach, but can still easily blend out for a natural look on lighter skintones.
Despite the shimmer in the pan, I feel like both shades of Too Faced Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush give more of a sheen when applied, but when it wears away it does leave behind shimmer. I also recommend using a setting spray, because I don’t find they are super longwearing (about 6 hours).
Before I tested out the Too Faced Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush formula I only had eyes for their “Love Flush” formula, but there’s something really lovely about the luminous finish of these blushes and they won me over. If you’re looking for a bit of a summer glow on your cheeks, I definitely recommend checking out Peach Beach or Something About Berry. The shades Candy Glow and Sparkling Bellini are also available.
Have you tried any of the Too Faced Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blushes? What do you think?
