Estee Lauder Crescent White Full Cycle Brightening Spot Correcting Essence

Estee Lauder Crescent White Full Cycle Brightening Spot Correcting Essence 2A few weeks ago I shared my experiences using the Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum, and unfortunately I didn’t really notice a difference in terms of dark spot correction, but I wasn’t going to give up which is why I put that product on hold to test out the Estee Lauder Crescent White Full Cycle Brightening Spot Correcting Essence* instead.

Estee Lauder Crescent White Full Cycle Brightening Spot Correcting Essence 3Estee Lauder Crescent White Full Cycle Brightening Spot Correcting Essence is part of a full line of products including a Cleanser, a Moisture Treatment Lotion and a Moisture Creme. However, the Essence is really the…essence of the collection so I wanted to see if it lived up to any of the promises to even skintone, get rid of dullness and most importantly, reduce dark spots.

Estee Lauder Crescent White Full Cycle Brightening Spot Correcting Essence comes in a pump (you can unscrew the lid to make sure you get every precious drop!) and is a milky, slightly thicker liquid that absorbs nicely into the skin with no tacky feeling. I use it after my cleanser but before moisturizing at night. I use one to two pumps to do my face, and bring it down to my neck if I have any left but I focus on where I really need the correcting.

Estee Lauder Crescent White Full Cycle Brightening Spot Correcting Essence 4In terms of results, I was actually shocked with how quickly I noticed an improvement using the Estee Lauder Crescent White Full Cycle Brightening Spot Correcting Essence.  Like, within a couple days I could tell it was doing its job.

The Estee Lauder Crescent White Full Cycle Brightening Spot Correcting Essence didn’t break me out (always important!) and although it does help moisturize my skin, it feels lightweight and should work even if you have oily skin. There is a light slightly aquatic scent to the entire line, which is which is a subtle but lovely combination of white florals and lychee, so keep that in mind, but overall the serum is quite gentle.

Of course it helped the Estee Lauder Crescent White Full Cycle Brightening Spot Correcting Essence that my skin was quite clear while using it, but what I was really happy with how well it worked to help fade the pigmentation I had from past blemishes and sun. I scar really easily and end up with a lot of discoloration no matter what I do (or don’t do!) with blemishes, so anything that can help beat that is a winner. I also noticed it helping with marks I had from the sun.

Estee Lauder Crescent White Full Cycle Brightening Spot Correcting EssenceI’ve only been using the Estee Lauder Crescent White Full Cycle Brightening Spot Correcting Essence for about three weeks, but I have really noticed an improvement in my skintone while using it. It has not only helped my skin look brighter, but it has also reduced the pigmentation I do have.

It might be the priciest product in my skincare arsenal, but if it’s in your budget, I definitely recommend the Estee Lauder Crescent White Full Cycle Brightening Spot Correcting Essence. I’ve already made a dent in my bottle, and luckily the next serum I’m testing doesn’t conflict, because I am going to keep using this until the very last drop! You can expect my final assessment in a very sad empties in the next couple months.

Do you have a favourite serum? Is skincare something you splurge on?
