Back in February I shared a few shades of one of the essence longlasting lipsticks, which are super affordable but have great formula and shade range as well. Today I’m back with four more shades, the essence longlasting lipsticks in Nude Love, Love Me, Oh So Matt! and I Am Yours.
The essence longlasting lipsticks come in black plastic packaging, which is lightweight but looks pretty good with the band of colour that matches the lipstick shade. I also really love the embossing on the lipstick itself, quite chic!
The essence longlasting lipsticks are available in a range of shiny and matte shades, including 11 Nude Love, 13 Love Me, 15 Oh So Matt! and 16 I Am Yours. They have a lightly fruity scent with a creamy formula. Most shades have even, semi-opaque pigmentation, although some of the lighter shades like Nude Love and Get The Look (previously reviewed) can be a little bit streaky.
The essence longlasting lipstick in Nude Love is a pale peachy nude, it’s a little bit uneven/streaky up close although far from the worst nude I’ve tried.
The essence longlasting lipstick in Love Me is a pink coral that has a translucency to it, but still applies evenly.
The essence longlasting lipstick in Oh So Matt! is a semi-matte brown nude.
The essence longlasting lipstick in I Am Yours is a red berry with translucency to it. This shade is really pretty and perfect for the upcoming cold weather!
As always, I’m really impressed by the essence longlasting lipsticks and it was fun testing out a few new-to-me shades. Out of these four, the only one that was a little problematic was Nude Love, but even if they weren’t so affordable I’d recommend the essence longlasting lipsticks in Love Me, Oh So Matt! and I Am Yours.
Have you tried any of the essence longlasting lipsticks yet? Let me know if you have a favourite shade!
