Last week I shared my thoughts on the Elizabeth and James Nirvana Black perfume, and today I’m back with its twin sister (not quite identical… this is funny because the brand is run by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen). Color aside, Elizabeth and James Nirvana White* has exact same packaging but a totally different fragrance inside.
Elizabeth and James Nirvana White is definitely a musky floral scent, composed of peony, lily of the valley, and musk notes. It starts off quite clean and fresh and gets more musky as it develops, and although it smells nice, it isn’t nearly as unique as Nirvana Black, it is also more of a spring scent for me. It is a classic, lovely scent, I just don’t find myself obsessively sniffing it (well, that sounds wrong) like I do with Nirvana Black.
Elizabeth and James Nirvana White did last all day on my skin, although I found it quite subtle even from when I applied it. The rollerball format is obviously quite convenient for reapplying, but the full size fragrance has a really sleek and gorgeous bottle.
Overall, Elizabeth and James Nirvana White is a nice, wearable scent which I will probably be reaching for when the weather starts to warm up again, but it just doesn’t stand out for me in the same way Elizabeth and James Nirvana Black does–I’m still lusting after a full size of that one!
