Double-Winged Green Liner with Miranda

Hey Everyone!!

It’s Miranda from MirandaLoves and I’d like to take a minute to thank Zoe for hosting me on her blog for this month’s guest post rotation! This month’s theme is GREEN and I’d thought I’d stick to my New Year’s Resolution of experimenting with more colorful makeup looks. This is my first time playing with a double liner look – I hope you all enjoy it!!

Here is a list of all the products I used:
2015-03-15-15-43-54_deco1. Sephora Pantone palette from .. 4ish years ago? It was the green one.
2. Girlacktik Bronzer
3. MAC – Hush
4. MAC – Lorelei shadow (limited edition – alluring aquatic collection)
5. MAC – Warm Soul
6. MAC – Dip Down
7. MAC – Brun eyeshadow that I use for my brows
8. Benefit – Roller Lash
9. Dior – Air Flash Foundation
10.  Skin Food – Salmon Darkcircle Concealer Cream
11. KOKO Lashes
2015-03-15-15-41-43_deco2015-03-15-15-42-21_deco 2015-03-15-15-43-14_decoI took a few different pictures of my look below, I created my regular neutral eye look and then buffed some green shadow into my bottom waterline and inner corner and extended it out to create a double wing. I also used a light lime green to create a little bit of an ombre effect.
2015-03-14-20-56-53_decoThis was my first time using the KOKO lashes I bought after watching LustreLux’s videos on YouTube. Her lashes always look so amazing, and I found the Velour and Esquido lashes too expensive, and the band was too thick. These KOKO lashes are about $5 and the band is thin, and they are so futtery and beautiful. I am now an addict, and will definitely be purchasing more.

I paired the colored liner with a light pink neutral lip – it’s the NYX butter lipgloss in Fortune Cookie.

I’m pretty happy with how this turned out. i went well beyond my comfort zone and I LIKE IT! 🙂

Once again, Thanks for Hosting me ZOE!!

XO, Miranda.

Thanks so much to Miranda for stopping by Writing Whimsy! Make sure to check out her blog, which is filled with gorgeous looks for the face and nails. I am so impressed by her double-winged liner, I can’t even manage a single wing. Have you tried the double-winged look?
