Diorshow Kohl Stick Pearly Turquoise

Diorshow Kohl Stick Pearly Turquoise 3After sharing the bright eyeshadows of the Dior 5 Couleurs Eyeshadow Palette Contraste Horizon, today I’ve got the accompanying Diorshow Kohl Stick Pearly Turquoise*, which is also limited edition as a part of the Dior Summer 2015 Tie Dye Collection. Honestly, I could probably have included this in the eyeshadow post since you saw me wearing it there, but I need a little more time to gush!

Diorshow Kohl Stick Pearly Turquoise 2The Diorshow Kohl Sticks are oversized eyeliners with a twist-up crayon packaging, and traditionally they seem to be available in fairly normal shades (Smoky Brown/Grey/Black/Blue according to Sephora). However the limited edition Diorshow Kohl Stick Pearly Turquoise is something else entirely, it is a dark, marine turquoise that adds a stunning pop of colour to any look.

Diorshow Kohl Stick Pearly TurquoiseThe formula of Diorshow Kohl Stick Pearly Turquoise is very creamy, but it has incredible lasting power. I have been wearing it on my lower lash line, and it stays there all day (although not on my waterline).  To remove I make sure to target my eye area twice, just to ensure no liner is left behind. Although it looks great as a liner, it is creamy, pigmented, and long-lasting enough to work as a shadow base all-over-the-lid, or just leave it on its own because it’s too pretty to cover with other shadows.

Diorshow Kohl Stick Pearly TurquoiseI’ve shared a closeup of how the the Diorshow Kohl Stick Pearly Turquoise looks applied, but to see it from further away as well as get my thoughts on the Dior 5 Couleurs Eyeshadow Palette Ambre Nuit which I’m also wearing in the look, you can check out my review.

Diorshow Kohl Stick Pearly TurquoiseI often talk about wearing a pop of colour on the lower lash line, and a product like the Diorshow Kohl Stick Pearly Turquoise makes that so easy. It is a stunning, long-lasting shade in a gorgeous colour, and the only thing I would change is that it obviously should not be limited edition! What do you think?
