I was pretty excited about the brand new Diorshow Brow Styler Gel, but unfortunately as cool as the product is, the shades don’t actually work for my brows (though I will definitely reach for the Transparent option). With that in mind, I was cautious about a second new brow product, the Diorshow Brow Styler in Universal Dark Brown*.
Previously available in only one “Universal Shade”, the Diorshow Brow Styler in Universal Dark Brown is an elegant, silver pencil with a (capped) spoolie on one end, and a twistable precise pencil on the other. I actually think this is the most precise brow product I’ve ever tried!
The Diorshow Brow Styler in Universal Dark Brown is a darker shade option than the original from Dior, and although the two shades still won’t work for every single brow out there, I was quite happy with the way this dark brown worked on my black hair. It’s more neutral in tone, though it still pulls a tiny bit warm on me it is definitely workable. I love using the ultra-fine tip to draw in tiny hairs, making it an excellent choice for anyone with sparse brows.
After I’m done with the Diorshow Brow Styler in Universal Dark Brown, I use the spoolie to comb through and give an even more natural finish to my brows. This is a great product if you want brows that look full but don’t look filled in. The pencil is quite hard, but not too hard. It’s not at all smudgy or creamy, but it also doesn’t tug at your skin when applying. Of course, it also lasts all day.
There have been a lot of brow products on the blog lately, the Diorshow Brow Styler in Universal Dark Brown is definitely a memorable one. I really love the polished look this gives to my brows, and the formula is fantastic.
What do you think? Is the Diorshow Brow Styler in Universal Dark Brown universal enough to work for you?
