BB Creams are a bit of a conflicting thing–on one hand, the light coverage often with SPF is great for summer, but on the other, that generally means shorter wear and greasy skin. The perfect solution? The Dior Diorskin Nude BB Creme*, which is now available in a limited edition shade for summer.
Dior Diorskin Nude BB Creme in 025 contains SPF10 and it is nicely moisturizing on the skin without being at all greasy or shiny. I always love SPF, especially in summer face products, but you’ll want to add more if you’re planning to be outside. Although I always like to see how much is inside, the packaging is otherwise flawless as it has a pump at the end that actually disperses an appropriate amount of product. I need 2-3 pumps to apply the product all over my face, and I’d always prefer being able to go back for more!
Dior Diorskin Nude BB Creme in 025 falls between the currently available Fair (02) and Medium (03) shades. I’ve actually used this BB Creme a couple times in the past, because it’s a much-loved favourite of my friend Laala, so I know the Fair shade is a perfect match. The Dior Diorskin Nude BB Creme in 025 is described as apricot, and it is definitely a warm, orange-leaning shade. However, it provides the perfect way to add an extra summer glow to your skin, or a great shade match if you are a bit darker than I am (maybe NC30). I know the swatch looks quite dark, but you do blend it out a lot.
In terms of coverage, the Dior Diorskin Nude BB Cremes are fairly sheer but provide a great way to even out your skin tone and as you can tell from my before/after it definitely helps both minimize redness and give my skin a more flawless, but natural-looking, finish. I really adore the way the Dior Diorskin Nude BB Creme in 025 looks, although unfortunately this shade is too dark and orange for me (especially when compared to my neck in person). If you want to get an idea of what it looks like with the rest of my makeup applied, check out my review of the Dior Addict Tie Dye Lipsticks and you can see what a great summer glow it really gives.
The final thing I really love about the Dior Diorskin Nude BB Creme in 025 is the wear time. Granted, I haven’t been able to test it out in really hot weather yet, but considering my friend who first recommended it lives in the Middle East, I am pretty confident in it. Usually BB Creams break down quite quickly on me but this one lasts all day. Basically, testing this out just reminded me how much I want it in 02!
