Dior Diorskin Airflash Spray Foundation in 205 Ochre Swatches

There’s always something really satisfying about reviewing foundations because they are one of those products where I feel you can really see the difference in my review. It’s also one of the products, along with brows, that I am most likely to wear on a daily basis. Recently two new shades were added to the Dior Diorskin Airflash Spray Foundation so I had the chance to try out this much-loved formula and tell you what I think! Dior Diorskin Airflash Spray Foundation in 501 Dark Beige Review + Swatches 2The Dior Diorskin Airflash Spray Foundation comes in an aerosol can and contains 70 mL of product. Now, most foundations have 30 mL at most, so that’s a lot of product but I’m not sure how long it will last as an aerosol. The can itself is actually quite sleek and I really love the silver Dior cap. You can apply the product by either spray it directly onto your face and blending it out, or just spray some onto your hand/beauty blender and apply that way. Either way you get a lightweight product with medium coverage and an airbrushed finish.

Dior Diorskin Airflash Spray Foundation in 205 Ochre Review + SwatchesThere are two new shades of this foundation available, there’s the Dior Diorskin Airflash Spray Foundation in 205 Ochre as well as 501 Dark Beige. It’s always great to see a brand expand their foundation shade range and I definitely hope that Dior continues to add shades in the future. While 205 is light with yellow undertones, 501 is a medium to dark shade also with warm undertones. On me, 205 is a tiny bit dark, but definitely a usable shade especially in the summer time.

Dior Diorskin Airflash Spray Foundation in 205 Ochre Review + Swatches 2As you can see in the before/after using the Dior Diorskin Airflash Spray Foundation in 205 Ochre, this foundation gives a really gorgeous finish. I applied by spraying it to my face and then blending in with my fingers for this photo, but you do have to be careful with that technique or you’ll get foundation in your hair. The first time I tried an aerosol foundation I thought it was a gimmick, but it really does a lightweight, airbrushed finish. It looks super natural and offers medium coverage, so I don’t need to pair it with a concealer unless I have a bad blemish or dark circles.

The Dior Diorskin Airflash Spray Foundation just melts into my skin. If you want a foundation that doesn’t feel like foundation, this is it. It’s super easy to blend in and does not look cakey at all. It also lasts all day!

Dior Diorskin Airflash Spray Foundation in 501 Dark Beige Review + SwatchesI’m always happy to see brands adding more shades to their foundation ranges, but with a product as great as the Dior Diorskin Airflash Spray Foundation it’s especially exciting because I don’t want anyone have to miss out! Whether you’re a 205 Ochre, a 501 Dark Beige, or one of the other shades in the range available, I definitely recommend checking out this foundation for a lightweight, flawless finish.

Have you ever tried an aerosol foundation before?
