As the obsession over contouring and highlighting continues to rage Dior recently launched the new Dior Diorblush Light & Contour Sculpting Stick Duo as a part of the Fall 2016 Skyline Collection, which also includes those stunning eyeshadow palettes.

This packaging is super convenient and portable, while the product itself is available in three different shades. Out of the three, I have the darker two, Medium Contour 002 and Intense Contour 003.

Medium Contour includes a peachy champagne highlight and a soft medium brown contour, while Intense Contour includes an antique gold highlight and a warm chocolate brown contour.

I was initially concerned that these two shades would be too dark for my light skintone, but the range is quite flexible and they definitely work, although the Intense Contour is warmer than I prefer.

On the left, foundation only. On the right, Dior Diorblush Light & Contour Sculpting Stick Duo in Medium Contour 002 applied.

In terms of application, the contour side of the Dior Diorblush Light & Contour Sculpting Stick Duo is very creamy and actually a little slippery. It blends out easily for a very natural look, but I found it could be blended out to the point that it disappeared a little too easily, so I had to be careful when applying. If you are really nervous about going too bold with your contour, this might be a better option. The highlight side is a little less creamy and I really love the glow. My first love was cream highlight but I have been using powder lately, and this product really reminded how gorgeous a cream highlight is. However, if you want extra long wear I do recommend setting with a powder.

I’m especially in love with the highlight end but if you get two products for the price of one? I won’t complain!

Do you use a cream contour or highlight? What do you think of these?
