I really adore the Dior Addict Fluid Sticks I tried from the Summer range, and have gotten a lot of use out of Ciel Rose in particular, so when I learned four new shades were being launched for Fall 2015, I was excited to try them out.
The Dior Addict Fluid Sticks launching for Fall 2015 are Versatile (289)*, Chic (784)*, Avant-Garde (499)* and Metamorphose (455). I don’t have the Metamorphose, but I do have the first three which include two (Versatile and Chic) which will be added to the permanent Dior lineup.
The Dior Addict Fluid Sticks in Versatile, Chic and Avant-Garde featuring the same pigmented gloss formula as the shades I had tried previously. They have lots of shine, so they are really flattering to wear, and you still get a little bit of your natural lip colour showing through. I also love the applicator, which is basically a fat, pointed doefoot that easily allows precise application and only requires that I go into the tube once.
Dior Addict Fluid Stick in Versatile (289) is a baby pink and definitely the sheerest shade I own. It does add a pinky tint to the lips and lots of shine. I was surprised by how wearable this shade was, it’s a fantastic summer-to-fall transition shade.
Dior Addict Fluid Stick in Chic (784) is a berry-leaning dark red that’s packed with pigment and applies perfectly, making it an easy choice for fall. I really thought this shade complimented a neutral eye look (I’m wearing the Dior Cosmopolite Fall 2015 5 Couleurs in Exuberante in all these photos). Dior Addict Fluid Stick in Avant-Garde (499) is a sheer milk chocolate shade, and I’ll admit that my first reaction when I saw it in the tube was not positive at all. However I was absolutely shocked when I applied it–I LOVE this shade. It’s a surprisingly MLBB (My Lips But Browner, ha) that really emphasizes your eyes. Is this shade the new plum for fall? Maybe!
Well, so far the Dior Addict Fluid Sticks I’ve tried are 6 for 6, because these new launches for Fall 2015 are total successes and I will be reaching for all three of them. Versatile for moments when I don’t want to think (or look in the mirror), Chic for when I’m wanting to go a little more bold and Avant-Garde, well, any time because apparently brown is wearable and I like it!
