Today I have a GIANT bottle of lotion to share with you, and that’s the Dermalogica Ultrarich Body Cream*. I had really only tried skincare from the brand before this, but I’d really enjoyed all the products I’d used (check out my Dermalogica reviews here), so I was optimistic that this would be the kind of lotion I’d be willing to finish the world’s largest container of! It’s actually only 473 mL, but it does look massive.
Dermalogica Ultrarich Body Cream comes in a large–I feel like I’ve made that quite clear–white pump container. I really like the pump on this bottle, it’s very easy and comfortable to use, if that makes sense. The lotion itself is actually a little wet and not as rich in texture as I expected, although it is very moisturizing to use. There’s a scent to the product that is noticeable but I can’t quite pinpoint, there’s some lavender, evening primrose oil and shea butter which might be causing it but whatever the combination, it’s not my favourite thing.
My favourite thing about the Dermalogica Ultrarich Body Cream is how easily it absorbs and how moisturizing it is. It doesn’t leave my skin greasy at all, and it’s kinda refreshing to use in these warmer summer days.
Overall, the Dermalogica Ultrarich Body Cream has a great formula but the scent is distracting to me. However, if you are looking for a moisturizing lotion that doesn’t leave behind any residue, this is definitely worth considering, I’d just give it a sniff first. Do you have a favourite body lotion?
