I love sweet scents, so it should be no surprise that I was so excited to see Demeter Fragrance Sugar Cookie* in the package of Demeter Fragrances sent to me. I knew that it would win me over easily, and it did.
I have been including the official descriptions, but the one for Demeter Fragrance Sugar Cookie is really more of a history lesson so I’m going to skip it. Instead I’ll tell you everything you need to know about this scent: it smells like sugar cookies, sweet and warm and fresh from the oven. There’s also a strong vanilla element to it, which is just perfect.
This is a holiday scent, and it’s actually so foody it would work just as well, if not better, as a room spray, but I want to just keep spraying it on myself. Demeter Fragrance Sugar Cookies is a warm, welcoming scent, and there’s something a touch like baby powder to it, sweet and soft.
I most prefer Demeter Fragrance Sugar Cookie when I first spray it and it’s at its strongest. Although it does last awhile, its initial burst fades quite quickly, especially in comparison to something like Demeter Fragrance Oud which smells much the same to me even hours after it’s been applied. That’s another reason I think this one would work well as a room spray, although I think I could say that about any of the Demeter scents. I may have to carry this bottle around and spray it every time I enter a room (note: that wasn’t what I meant by room spray).
How do you feel about super sweet scents? Do you have a scent you associate with the holidays?
