Growing up my dad always put baby powder in our shoes and it’s a scent that that’s always felt fresh and clean to me, so I was interested to see how well it could be captured in fragrance-form with Demeter Fragrance Baby Powder*.
Well, Demeter Fragrance Baby Powder really does smell like baby powder. It’s a cozy, scent that’s difficult for me to describe as anything else but baby powder– it truly does capture it. It’s intense at first but does soften to a more mild, powdery scent. It’s probably not something that I would frequently wear as a body spray but I am tempted to spray my shoes or sheets with it, it’s a nice scent to fall asleep too.
Demeter Fragrance Baby Powder lasts about 3-4 hours on me, although I am less concerned about lasting power when it’s not a scent I really intend to wear as a perfume. You definitely could, it’s the sort of clean, lovely scent that smells so much like baby powder people might mistake it for being your natural, good smell. It’s the kind of scent that really makes me think of childhood.
In terms of capturing a “singular scent” like the brand promises, Demeter Fragrance Baby Powder delivers–this smells exactly like baby powder to me, and if that’s what you’re looking for, it’s definitely worth picking up!
