It’s been a couple weeks since a Demeter review, and I admit that I’ve missed it. I took a bit of a break to test out some other perfumes, but I’ve got a lovely batch of spring scents to share with and I’m starting it off with Demeter Fragrance Apple Blossom*.
Demeter Fragrance Apple Blossom is definitely what I would call a “juicy” scent, there’s a deep sweetness from the apple and it’s mixes with a light floral scent as well. A lot of my favourite scents from Demeter have been the super sweet bakery type, but this kind of wearable, deliciousness is definitely a new favourite as well. It’s the kind of scent that makes me want to bite right into a juicy apple, but it’s not overwhelming as a cologne either.
In terms of wear, Demeter Fragrance Apple Blossom is about average for Demeter’s cologne sprays and lasts 3-4 hours on me. There’s a very faint scent left behind afterwards but you’d have to bring my wrist directly to your nose to smell it. And that would probably make me uncomfortable. So this does need to be reapplied throughout the day, but the slender 30 mL Demeter containers are pretty sturdy and portable for doing that.
Overall, I’m a big fan of Demeter Fragrance Apple Blossom. It’s the kind of fruity delicious scent I love but a little more complicated and grown up with the floral notes, and even though the lasting power isn’t amazing, it’s definitely one I’ll be reaching for often this spring.
What kind of scent do you like for spring? I’ll be doing a post featuring some suggestions very soon!
