Some of these food scents just end up making me hungry and Demeter Fragrance Angel Food* is kinda one of them. Especially after a bit of a miss (sorry Chrysanthemum!) it’s nice to be back to another one I can say good things about.
In terms of lasting power, Demeter Fragrance Angel Food is probably the weakest one I tried. It is really strong for maybe 30 minutes but fades quickly afterwards. For that reason I’ll be sticking to using it as a room spray– which we’ve actually been using Sugar Cookie as lately and my boyfriend loves it. I think bakery scents make great room sprays but this can definitely also be worn as a perfume, you’d just have to touch up a lot (or maybe it lasts longer on somebody else’s skin).
Demeter Fragrance Angel Food really captures the scent of the cake to me, a very sweet combination of sugar and vanilla but with a definite “airiness” to it that defines angel food to me. There is an alcohol scent until it dries but that doesn’t take long at all. Afterwards, vanilla is the strongest and there’s maybe a very light hint of coconut but not enough to really smell coconuty which is perfect with me, because basically, this smells delicious.
Do you ever use colognes as room sprays instead? I definitely do!
