Not just Britney Spears lyrics but a semi-fortunate description of my habits when it comes to DAVIDsTEA. I just can’t seem to stop myself, especially when there’s a 40% summer clearance sale and a $50 free shipping minimum basically the items jumped into my cart and forced me to purchase them. As a result, here I am again with another DAVIDsTEA Haul. Tea No-Buy to follow shortly : (
First up in my DAVIDsTEA Haul are four containers each of which contains two teas that you can drink separately or mix together for a new flavour. On sale they were $8.70 each and contain over 100 g of tea each, so that’s a huge savings and I didn’t have any of the eight teas so now I do. Okay I had one of them (Just Peachy) but I really like it. I am interested to try them individually as well as to attempt to mixing, but the packaging isn’t my favourite because even though it’s pretty, I find the lids don’t snap on firmly.
The duos I got were Pineapple Daiquiri Perfect Match (Redberry Tonic and Hot Tropic), Fruit Punch Perfect Match (Gogi Pop and Just Peachy), Blueberry Pancake Perfect Match (Blueberry Jam and Oh Canada), and Cream Soda Perfect Match (Pure Vanilla and Cranberry Pear).
Apparently I needed even more tea so I also included these three mini stackable tins in my DAVIDsTEA Haul. They are actually magnetic so they stick together very well and I really love this packaging. They only hold 25 or 30 g but at $3.00 each they were still a great price. I grabbed Main Squeeze (even though I have a 100 g tin and don’t need it, I love it and the tin is cute, or I may regift), Kokomo Green, and Green & Fruity.
The final item was definitely a huge reason I ended up having a DAVIDsTEA Haul in the first place. I have wanted the Balloons Nordic Mug ever since it was first released as a part of the Carnival collection, and when it was on sale for only $13.50 I couldn’t help myself. Look how freaking adorable it is? I kinda wanted to get two but I don’t really need two… right? This will probably be my new work mug, it’s so cheerful and cute and it has room for lots of tea.
Lastly, my DAVIDsTEA Haul included the fall catalog (which sounds AMAZING) as well as three free samples that come with every order. I got Pumpkin Chai (review here) and Maple Sugar from the Fall Collection, and Cherry Snowcone (review here). I wish I had gotten more teas I hadn’t tried before but I guess that’s getting increasingly difficult! I definitely can’t wait to test out the fall collection though, I am most excited about Sweet Apple Cider.
That’s it (yeah.. that’s it) for my DAVIDsTEA Haul but if you’re interested in shopping the Summer Clearance there are still lots of things for sale, and you can check it out here.
What do you think of my crazy order? Totally justified? Other response that I don’t care to hear?
