I usually start off dry shampoo reviews by saying how I don’t usually use dry shampoo, but here are my thoughts anyway. However, I’ve recently been straightening my hair more often, and as a result it actually does sometimes benefit from dry shampoo, which has given me the perfect opportunity to try out the COLAB Sheer Invisible Dry Shampoo in London and Rio*.
I have the mini travel-sizes of the COLAB Sheer Invisible Dry Shampoo, which are great for putting in your purse or gym bag. One of the things that makes these dry shampoos stand out is the scent. The COLAB Sheer Invisible Dry Shampoo in London is a classic scent of bergamot, musk and magnolia, which is a bit dustier, while my personal preference is the COLAB Sheer Invisible Dry Shampoo in Rio, a tropical mix of papaya, pineapple and cassis. It smells really yummy!
I have very dark hair, so I was please to see that the COLAB Sheer Invisible Dry Shampoo does not leave a white cast. I don’t need to apply much, but I spray is lightly at the roots and rub it in a little to absorb any oils. This is a personal preference, but I appreciate that these dry shampoos do not add volume to my hair, because it doesn’t need it. However, there is an Extreme Volume variation also available.
It’s easy to see why the COLAB Sheer Invisible Dry Shampoo (created by A Model Recommends, a blogger!) is getting such rave reviews, because it’s affordable, smells great and does a lovely job as a dry shampoo. It is available online at FarleyCo as well as in store at Jean Coutu, Lawtons and London Drugs. What’s your favourite dry shampoo?
