I think for the sake of being currently, I’m going to do my Coco Rocha Fancy Box February review now, and then my January review after. Basically, I thought my January box was wrong so I never shared what was in it, but it turns out it was right, so now it’s just unposted. I will try to get it up, because it is still fun to share what was in it, especially if you are considering subscribing!
Fancy does a whole bunch of subscription boxes, which are more expensive but also come with full size items with a much higher value than what you pay. The box is $39/month, but shipping to Canada is $17. However it does promise to have at least $80 worth of products, so you do still have a decent savings even with Canadian shipping. I had seen this box on a few blogs and decided to test it out when there was a promo code. There’s a different one now but it still works for 10% off with FOLLOWUP10. I was only thinking of doing one month but I ended up with two, and I am definitely tempted to subscribe again in the future. My Coco Rocha Fancy Box February box came with five awesome items.
Morning Mug ($7.79, $15 on Fancy): Pour your hot coffee or tea into the Morning Mug and watch it transform in the same way I do once I get my caffeine fix!
Okay so I have wanted one of these mugs that changes when it gets hot for quite awhile and I was so excited to see this in the Coco Rocha Fancy Box February box– isn’t it adorable? My only issue is that this mug is actually really small. If you generally drink a small coffee, that might be really useful, but I use mine for tea and I like to make a nice big mug and this just wouldn’t be large enough. So I’m undecided if I want to keep it because it’s adorable, or gift it. It’s also not dishwasher safe but that really doesn’t bother me but might some people.
Tea Diver ($11.64, $12 on Fancy): I love loose tea, but it can be a real mess. Use the adorable Tea Diver to keep your loose tea in check and enjoy its full flavor.
How cute is this guy to go with the mug? Funnily, this “tea diver” is a totally normal size and I don’t know how well it would work in the mug, but they are both adorable and absolutely my style. However, I have a tea-loving friend with a birthday this weekend and this just screamed her name when I saw it, so I’m going to be giving it to her instead. But it’s so cute and I’m very happy to receive it! Fancy should send another one so I can have it too!
Paddywax Travel Tin ($14.20, $10 on Fancy): You can never have too many candles and this one has such a great, homey feel to it.
I love candles! I know why I picked the Coco Rocha Fancy Box, such great taste. This candle smells amazing and it’s super convenient for travel although I’ll end up just enjoying it at home. When I opened up my box everything smelt so good I was afraid something had leaked, but luckily it was just this awesome candle. Plus they are all named after authors, how cool is that?
Gloves by Echo Design ($35 on Fancy): Gloves are an absolute must this winter! These gloves from Echo Design are practical and super stylish.
This was the most ‘meh’ item in the Coco Rocha Fancy Box February box for me. I would have loved to have gotten gloves, but these fingerless kind just aren’t super useful to me since it’s my fingers that freeze the most. They are also a bit big, but the gold colour is pretty.
Bag Light ($12 on Fancy): No matter what bag I’m carrying, I somehow always manage to lose things in my purse! This mini LED light is a life-saver- especially when you’re looking for your keys at the end of the night.
I actually don’t have a big purse, so I’m not sure that I’ll use this and may gift it instead, but I do think it is so cute and clever and I have definitely seen girls searching in their purses with their cell phone light, so I can appreciate this and think it’s cute even if it’s not incredibly practical for me.
According to the Fancy prices, the total value for Coco Rocha Fancy Box February is $84. Based on the prices I could find on Amazon the value is quite similar but it’s hard to compare as I could only find 3/5 items.
Although quite a few of these items may be gifted, I actually really liked this box! The candle smells amazing, everything is stylish and adorable, and I think it’s very well curated. There is a big risk with an expensive box like this, but I do trust Coco’s taste, and if I can afford it I would definitely subscribe to this box again in the future. It’s also nice to test out a non-makeup box as my makeup collection is getting a bit ridiculous, and the Fancy boxes come with lifestyle products I may actually get more use out of.
