Of course, the new Clinique Cheek Pops and Lip Pops have been getting a lot of hype–click here to see my review of the Clinique Pop Lip Colour + Primer Fab Pop–but the brand has actually also launched just launched a new line of skincare intended to give you radiant skin. I only have one of the six products to try out, but it’s definitely one of the most exciting, and that’s the Clinique Turnaround Revitalizing Treatment Oil*.
Clinique Turnaround Revitalizing Treatment Oil comes in a clear blue bottle that is really pretty but made of heavy duty plastic instead of glass. Considering how often I drop things, I definitely don’t mind (I’m always a little paranoid about my Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate). It is applied using a dropper, and although there are a few different ways to use it, my preference is at night after my moisturizer. Of course, you can combine it with the Turnaround Daytime or Overnight Revitalizing Moisturizer for extra radiance, but I have been using the Lise Watier Age Control Supreme La Creme Sublime. It is quite lightweight, but so is my moisturizer, however this could also work on its own especially during the warm weather.
The Clinique Turnaround Revitalizing Treatment Oil is filled with great ingredients for your skin, including salicylic acid for gentle exfoliation, pomegranate sterols, olive oil and mango seed oil for moisture, vitamin C and E as well as lady thistle oil and cranberry seed oil to help maintain healthy skin. I have been using this product for about three weeks now, and I do think it has helped make my skin softer and smoother. The biggest difference I have noticed is skin texture, so I would still pair it with a serum (there actually is a Turnaround Revitalizing Serum) to help with fine lines, pigmentation, and any other skin concerns.
It is hard testing just the Clinique Turnaround Revitalizing Treatment Oil on its own, because I know that it is intended to be a part of a complete skincare routine that helps brighten and revitalize (of course) your skin, but I have still enjoyed using it. Even in the summer months it is important to make sure your skin gets enough moisture, and I think this is a great option because of how lightweight it is.
Do you use Clinique skincare? I’ve also really loved their Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel is the past, and should probably finish up my jumbo bottle this summer…
