There’s always a risk that a foundation you haven’t tried in person isn’t going to be a good match for your skin, but that was absolutely not the case with the Clarins Everlasting Foundation SPF15 in 103 Ivory* which is a flawless match both because of colour and the product itself.
Clarins Everlasting Foundation SPF15 comes in a gorgeous frosted glass bottle with a pump (yay) that disperses product in a reasonable amount. As much as I prefer a pump, sometimes too much will come out (I’m looking at you Mac Pro Longwear Concealer) and that is not the case here. The product has a nice weight to it, and a gold cap. Like all the Clarins products I own, it’s both classic and chic.
Clarins Everlasting Foundation SPF15 in 103 Ivory is enriched with plant ingredients and promises 18 hours of coverage. It also has a cucumber scent to it. My shade, 103, is a perfect match for my NC15-20 skin which is light but warm-toned. It’s a medium coverage foundation that does a perfect job hiding redness, although for any major blemishes concealer would still be useful!
In terms of how it makes my skin look, I am pretty in love with the Clarins Everlasting Foundation SPF15 in 103 Ivory. It’s a mostly matte foundation with a slight glow to it, and as a result any really dry areas aren’t going to look flawless–for some reason I’ve found the place between my eyes to be an issue, although spraying MAKE UP FOR EVER Mist & Fix helps! Even without the setting spray, it is a very long-lasting foundation that still looks great when I get home from work.
Not only does the Clarins Everlasting Foundation SPF15 in 103 Ivory match my skin flawlessly and last all day, but it’s also got SPF15 in it to help your skin look great even longer. I brought this foundation with me when I went home so I’ve been using it for a few weeks, and I am consistently impressed. Definitely worth testing out in store if you’re looking for a new foundation!
Have you tried any base products from Clarins? I fell in love with the Clarins Instant Light Radiance Boosting Complexion Base in Champagne last April, so I guess it was about time for a new love!
