China Glaze Dorothy Who? Swatches and Review

I’ve been finding my polish is lasting longer these days, I think because I don’t really pick at it anymore (which is probably helping my nails not to peel as much, yay!) but also means I’ve been switching up my polish less.

I’m not one of those people who takes just paints one hand and takes photos, I actually wear all the polishes. It’s too much work for me to just swatch, and since I haven’t gotten any polish for review, it’s not like I’m in a rush. I’d rather take my time, but that means I usually go through two polishes a week. Still, even at this slow rate, I’m behind. So here’s another one from last week and one of my all-time favourites, China Glaze Dorothy Who?

China Glaze Dorothy Who? is a bright blue base with lots of blue and silver glitter. The sparkle, especially in the sun, is just breath-taking. Man, I love this polish!

One thing I will note is that in these photos, especially the ones taken in direct sunlight, but this really wasn’t visible in person. China Glaze Dorothy Who? definitely has a sheerer, blue jelly base that lets all the glitter sparkle through, but I really hate VNL and it really isn’t noticeable with this polish.

China Glaze Dorothy Who is the kind of colour that works year-round, the kind that cheers me up whenever it is on my nails. I never finish nail polishes, except base and top coats, but you can definitely tell I’ve made a dent in this one from the photos. Along with Ruby Pumps (or a dupe of it) it’ll be my collection for a long time.

Because of the sheer nature of the jelly base, it does take 3 coast for the bright, vibrant sapphire colour in the bottle to appear opaque on your nails, but the coats are pretty thin and dry easily. Overall, definitely one of my “must-have” polishes.

What do you think of China Glaze Dorothy Who? Would you wear this polish? Do you have a favourite polish you see yourself using for a long time?
