I’m so excited, it’s Charlotte Tilbury time! Easily one of my favourite makeup brands, I’ve previously reviewed the Charlotte Tilbury The Rebel (here) and Dolce Vita (here) Quads, so I was thrilled to add one more to the little family. Today’s post is all about the stunning Charlotte Tilbury Vintage Vamp Eyeshadow Quad.
In terms of packaging, the Charlotte Tilbury Vintage Vamp Eyeshadow Quad matches its sisters perfectly. It’s a chic mahogany plastic with those gorgeous rose gold accents. Inside, there’s a large mirror, four fairly large shadows, and most importantly–no room for a foam applicator or brush I won’t use anyway.
Charlotte Tilbury Vintage Vamp Eyeshadow Quad features sultry shades of burgundy with lots of sparkle. In comparison to the coppery Dolce Vita, this quad is much more red. The Vintage Vamp is one of 10 makeup looks from Charlotte Tilbury, and it’s meant to be intoxicating and dramatic. I can definitely see that with these shades!
The Charlotte Tilbury Vintage Vamp Eyeshadow Quad includes Prime, a buttery pink champagne shimmer, Enhance, a pigmented a rusty burgundy satin, Pop, a light gold glitter with an almost wet, ‘slick’ consistency to it, and Smoke, a dark brownish burgundy satin. Although Enchance and Smoke swatch differently, my single complaint about an otherwise flawless palette is that I wish these shades were a little more different since they can appear similar on the eye when blended into each other.
In the above look I’m wearing all four shades from the Charlotte Tilbury Vintage Vamp Eyeshadow Quad. I have Prime as an inner corner highlight, Enhance all over the lid, and Smoke in the crease. Finally, I gently patted the glitter Pop all over the lid for an added sparkle. This is my go-to combination for the shadows in these quads–it’s exactly the same look (with different shades) I created for my Dolce Vita review. I’m always really happy with the wear and pigmentation of Charlotte Tilbury shadows, but a primer never hurts. I’m also wearing the gorgeous Charlotte Tilbury K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick in Stoned Rose (review coming soon!)
Well, there you have it. Another Charlotte Tilbury review where I tell you how gorgeous and luxurious her products are. If you are looking some gorgeous rusty burgundy tones, you’ll definitely want to check out the Charlotte Tilbury Vintage Vamp Eyeshadow Quad. For the perfect coppers, check out Dolce Vita, and for some stunning greens, The Rebel. Basically, there’s a Charlotte Tilbury Quad for every occasion and I think I need them all.
Do you have any Charlotte Tilbury makeup on your wishlist? Next up on mine is the Charlotte Tilbury Golden Goddess Eyeshadow Quad…I obviously need those shades for my hazel eyes!
