Burt’s Bees makes a lot of great, more natural products and every year they launch holiday-exclusive sets that have a great value and make fantastic gifts. I was lucky enough to receive quite a few of these in 2014 (reviewed here) and I passed a bunch on to my family who loves their beeswax balms and was thrilled. For my Burt’s Bees Holiday Gift Guide 2015 Edition, I have two different sets, the Burt’s Bees Mani Pedi* and Burt’s Bees Hive Favourites*, to share.
I was immediately drawn to the Burt’s Bees Mani Pedi Kit because this is the sort of set that would make a great gift for my mom–or any one else that needs to spend a little more time treating themselves. It includes an Ecotools Foot Brush & Pumice (very effective, it has already been put to use in my apartment!) as well as a very minty Peppermint Foot Lotion to follow up with. I’m actually not a fan of peppermint, although I mind less on my feet, but this is light lotion that doesn’t leave you feeling greasy and is quite cooling to use.
To treat your hands, the Burt’s Bees Mani Pedi Kit includes one of my favourite products, their Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream. Although I seem to leave these everywhere so I don’t think I have actually finished one, I have “hit pan” on more than one and I love the scent and how moisturizing it is on my dry cuticles. It’s perfect for applying before bed year-round, but especially in the wintertime. The final product is the Burt’s Bees Ultimate Care Hand Cream which has no added fragrance and a very thick consistency. It’s meant for very dry skin and it takes moisturization seriously. My hands have been so dry lately and this is definitely going to have a home on my desk from now on!
The second set I have from the Burt’s Bees holiday lineup is the Burt’s Bees Hive Favorites in Pomegranate. This little duo includes their classic beeswax balm in a replenishing Pomegranate scent, along with a little tube of the Burt’s Bees Milk & Honey Body Lotion. I’ve enjoyed both these products in the past. The lotion has a sweet scent and I actually used these little tubes last year as hand lotion because they are a great size for a purse.
This Hive Favorites set (also available in other flavours) makes a perfect stocking stuffer. If you’re a longtime fan of their balms, there’s also a limited edition Caramel Apple scent available right now I am pretty curious about!
Having tried every product in this Burt’s Bees Holiday Gift Guide 2015 Edition, I can honestly tell you they would make lovely gifts! I love that they come in packaging that is ready to gift, and you’re getting their permanent products for an even better value. Their little duos make great stocking stuffers, but I especially love the selection of products in the Burt’s Bees Mani Pedi Kit.
Do you have a favourite Burt’s Bees product? Mine has always been their Cuticle Cream but that was before I tried their hand cream…
