I pretty much gush about Burberry every time I feature the brand on my blog, so don’t be surprised if I love another product from the brand! Lately I’ve been trying out the Burberry Fresh Glow Foundation in Porcelain No.11*, which is a light, luminous foundation that with a natural “skin” finish.
In terms of packaging, the Burberry Fresh Glow Foundation in Porcelain No.11 continues the tradition of being the most stunning product I own in whatever category–in this case, it’s definitely my prettiest foundation bottle. There’s a heavy steel grey lid with the classic Burberry print embossed on it. It also gives the bottle the square shape that is common among all the Burberry makeup products. When you remove the lid, there’s a pump and a clear bottle that lets you see how much product is left.
The Burberry Fresh Glow Foundation in Porcelain No.11 has a very liquidy consistency and it takes about 2 or 3 pumps to cover my face. I think it’s much better to apply with your fingers than a brush because of how wet it is, so that’s how I prefer to do it. In terms of shade range, I’d say that Porcelain is a perfect match for my NC15-20 skin so I’m not sure this foundation would work if you were very pale, although the coverage is light so there is some flexibility.
The Burberry Fresh Glow Foundation in Porcelain No.11 is definitely a light coverage foundation that helps cover redness and give a more even finish to my skin. It also gives it a very natural, subtle glow. There’s actually a Fresh Glow Luminous Fluid Base you can mix it with to make it even more radiant. I really like the finish because it looks like I just have really nice skin, it’s almost air-brushed to me. However, you would have to dab over any blemishes with concealer if you wanted to hide them (somehow my skin was looking quite good when I took these photos).
The only issue I have with the Burberry Fresh Glow Foundation in Porcelain No.11 is that I find it wears away pretty quickly, especially since I tend to touch my face quite often. I will definitely be pairing it with a primer for longer wear.
Well, I guess it’s not a surprise but the Burberry Fresh Glow Foundation in Porcelain No.11 is yet another product I adore from the brand. Have you tried any Burberry makeup? What do you think of this foundation? I just love the airbrushed, slight glow it gives to my skin!
