Considering how much I adore my Burberry Fresh Glow Foundation (reviewed here), I was incredibly excited to try out the latest foundation from the brand, the Burberry Cashmere Foundation in Porcelain No.11. This oil-free foundation is available in 14 shades and provides a soft-matte finish. I have the lightest shade in the range.
The packaging of the Burberry Cashmere Foundation in Porcelain No.11 is exactly the same as the Fresh Glow except with a matte finish–just like the foundation. It has the Burberry check design on the lid, and a heavy frosted plastic bottle with a pump. The pump can also “lock” into place which makes it great for travel.
In terms of consistency, the Burberry Cashmere Foundation in Porcelain No.11 is quite runny an takes about three pumps for my entire face. Like most makeup, I always apply with my fingers. As I expected based on my other Burberry foundation, Porcelain is a perfect match for NC15.
The Burberry Cashmere Foundation in Porcelain No.11 provides medium but buildable coverage and blends great into my skin. It really hides redness and burns out any imperfections in my skin. It really makes my skin look flawless! The finish is a very natural but long-lasting soft matte and I’m curious to try this out as the weather gets warmer. Right now, it’s lasting an entire day on me however it can settle a tiny bit into fine lines without a primer.
Overall, my latest experience with the Burberry foundation family did not disappoint! While the Burberry Fresh Glow is a sheer product with a natural glow, the Burberry Cashmere Foundation in Porcelain No.11 offers higher coverage and a soft matte finish. Depending on the situation, I will definitely continue to reach for both. Now the only issue is I still want to try out the I still want to try out the powder variations like the Burberry Fresh Glow Compact to see how they compare!
