A a brand, Burberry does classic, sleek and well-made fashion and it doesn’t surprise me that their makeup and fragrance line are the same way. I actually visited the only standalone Burberry cosmetics storefront when I was in London and it was really hard to walk away without spending all my money. I’m still lusting over makeup, but I was lucky enough to try out the brand’s new fragrance Burberry Brit Rhythm for Her*.
The packaging of Burberry Brit Rhythm for Her is quite classic Burberry, with the Burberry print embossed on the glass although it is quite subtle. The rectangular shape is almost masculine, but the liquid inside is a light pink. The scent itself is lightly fruity with a powdery sense to it. Although lavender is listed as one of the main notes, it’s not something I find very strong in the fragrance. Instead, I find it blends softly with the sweetness of orange blossom and powdery musk notes. In terms of wear Burberry Brit Rhythm for Her is an Eau de Toilette, and I get pretty much expected wear considering, which is about 5 hours. I think the combination of sweet and musk would make this a great scent for the inevitable transition into fall.
After loving Burberry Brit Rhythm for Her I am definitely interested in trying out more fragrances from the brand. Burberry Brit Eau de Parfum has my attention in particular! Have you ever tried any fragrance from Burberry before?
