Back in September I shared the original Burberry Brit Rhythm for Her fragrance, and now, just in time for spring I have the new Burberry Brit Rhythm for Her Floral* to share with you. Interestingly, while the box is different, the bottle appears to be the same for both variations with the exception of the sticker on the bottom of the bottle. Luckily, my two bottles are also different sizes, but it is a strange and potentially confusing choice from Burberry. That said, as I shared in my original review, I still find the bottle to be elegant and sophisticated, and the addition of the print definitely makes it distinctly Burberry.
Scent-wise, Burberry Brit Rhythm for Her Floral delivers on its floral promise, but it is a light, fresh floral that really does make me think of spring. The scent starts with fresh citrus from lemon and orange, blending into the light floral heart of jasmine, lotus and lilac. There is a base of woods, amber and musk, but it is far less powdery and musky than the original. This is a soft, subtle but lovely scent that is not overwhelming like florals can sometimes be.
In terms of wear, I actually found Burberry Brit Rhythm for Her Floral to stay on my skin longer than its predecessor and could still smell it 7 hours later–keeping in mind, it is not a strong scent to begin with and can sit quite close to the skin. I will be sharing my spring scent guide soon, but you can definitely expect to see Burberry Brit Rhythm for Her Floral on it, and if you are looking for a new seasonal option, this one is definitely worth trying out!
Have you tried any Burberry scents before? This is the third one I’ve reviewed, and so far I have loved them all, but Burberry Brit Rhythm for Her Floral is definitely the most subtle.
