I hope everyone is having a wonderful long weekend! If I’m honest I had a really tough start to the day, but a bit of exercise–really, a bit, because I have massive blisters on the bottoms of my feet–a shower, and I feel suddenly more inspired and motivated. Endorphins and all that. I figured I’d start off blogging with a quick little post because I have been keeping The Body Shop Vitamin E Aqua Boost Essence Lotion a secret for TOO LONG. But don’t worry, I’m here to share now.
I haven’t tried any products from The Body Shop Vitamin E line (most of my experience has been with their Tea Tree products) but it’s always seemed like one of those super soothing ranges that would be perfect for sensitive and dry skin. Well, I wasn’t wrong. The Body Shop Vitamin E Aqua Boost Essence Lotion is meant to be used after cleansing and toning, but before serums and moisturizer. This “gellified formula” is slightly viscous and contains ingredients like wheatgerm oil, biofermented hyaluronic acid and of course vitamin E.
You can apply The Body Shop Vitamin E Aqua Boost Essence Lotion with a cotton pad, but I have been using it by apply some to the palms of my (clean) hands and gently patting it into my skin after cleansing. It’s a soothing extra step that helps my skin lock in moisture, leaving it feeling extra soft. I wait for it to absorb before applying my moisturizer.
While The Body Shop Vitamin E Aqua Boost Essence Lotion is definitely an extra step in your skincare routine if you struggle with dry skin it’s definitely worth checking out this product as well as the rest of the Vitamin E range from The Body Shop. That Vitamin E Overnight Serum-In-Oil sounds lovely!
