Bioderma Summer Essentials

Bioderma Summer Essentials 2I’m going somewhere really exciting today and that place is THE BEACH! I’m only managing to make it for a long weekend (I head back on Monday) but I’ll take what I can get but hope for lots of sunshine. I knew the moment this package of Bioderma Summer Essentials arrived I’d be taking all four of these products with me, but I’ve actually gotten quite a bit of use out of them in the meantime. These beach-friendly essentials include the Bioderma Photoderm Spray SPF 40*, Bioderma Photoderm After-Sun Milk*, Bioderma Cicabio Cream* and of course, the Bioderma Sensibio H20*

Bioderma Photoderm Spray SPF 40Sunscreen is important year-round, but I definitely spend more time (and with more skin showing) during the summer months, so it’s especially important right now. I’ve already made a dent in my bottle of Bioderma Photoderm Spray SPF 40 and it has been a huge hit. It is a spray sunscreen, but not aerosol, so you still have to rub it in which insures you don’t miss any patches. It’s got a really light consistency and it’s non-greasy, I even used this on my face a couple times and didn’t mind it. This has definitely been the sunscreen I reach for the most this summer.

Bioderma Photoderm After-SunIf you get a little too much sun or just need some moisture for your skin, there’s the Bioderma Photoderm After-Sun Milk. This is a very lightweight, wet lotion (as you would expect from a milk) and although it has a subtle fragrance, what I love most about it is that it doesn’t smell like coconut. So many summery things have that coconut scent and I hate it, so this is a great refreshing alternative.

Bioderma Cicabio CreamThe product I was most confused by when it arrived was the Bioderma Cicabio Cream, but it’s actually pretty great. This is a moisturizing, repairing lotion that works on damaged or itchy skin. It helps to soothe your skin so you don’t want to scratch, and it also has antibacterial properties. I’ve tried this a couple times on mosquito bites and it definitely helps so I’m curious to see what kind of magic the Cicabio Cream can work over the rest of the summer!

Bioderma Sensibio H20Of course, it’s not any kind of trip (or any kind of time-at-home, for that matter) without some Bioderma Sensibo H20 Micellar Water, and I’ve shared my love for this product a few times already. The adorable 100 mL Travel Size works for airline restrictions, and it’s perfect for a weekend away. Even if I’m not wearing any makeup, I find it quite refreshing to use as a toner at the end of the day.

Bioderma Summer EssentialsThese Bioderma Summer Essentials have you covered if you want to prepare for the summer, treat your skin afterwards, get a little help with those bug bites, or just cleanse your face at the end of the day. I’ve enjoyed all of them, but even better than using them at home will be using them at the beach!

What are your summer essentials?
