If there’s one makeup remover I have heard good things about it, it’s Bioderma Sensibo H20 Micellar Water* so although I’ve tried it out before I was very excited to use it again, as well as see how the Bioderma Sensibo H20 Wipes* compare.
In case you don’t spend as much time on the internet as me, Bioderma Sensibo H20 Micellar Water is a cleansing and make-up removing water for sensitive skin that is available in 100 mL, 250 mL and 500 mL formats. I have both a 100 mL and 500 mL bottle, but the product inside is the same, it’s just a matter of preference in terms of convenience versus saving some money on the price. The 100 mL is very handy for travel though!
I really love Bioderma Sensibo H20 Micellar Water because it is 100% non-irritating, and I have spent so much time with makeup removers that burn my eyes and it is just not worth it. This really feels gentle on your skin, and there’s no residue so you actually feel refreshed afterwards. I am also impressed by how effective it is, by wetting a cotton pad and holding it over my eye for a few moments I’m even able to get my stubborn mascara (Benefit They’re Real). Although you might need an oil-based remover for some waterproof products, I’ve been able to get away with just this for all the makeup I wear.
Guys, the hype is real. When I use Bioderma Sensibo H20 Micellar Water along with my Shiseido Facial Cotton I feel like I am removing my makeup with a cloud it is so easy and gentle.
Since I already enjoyed the regular Bioderma Sensibo H20 Micellar Water, I was very interested to see how the product worked in wipe-format, as there are some situations where it’s just a lot easier to have wipes, especially since a micellar water can’t be applied just using your hands. The Bioderma Sensibo H20 Wipes come in a package of 25, and are large, wet, and gentle, which is exactly what I love in a wipe. There’s also no residue, so on those super lazy nights when I don’t want to actually wash my face, these are absolutely perfect, and they are also really refreshing for travel.
For a daily basis, I would definitely go with the Bioderma Sensibo H20 Micellar Water, and having it in my life reminded me how nice it is, but the matching Bioderma Sensibo H20 Wipes are very effective and if you need a gentle and effective makeup wipe they are worth picking up.
Are you a fan of Bioderma? I haven’t tried any other products from the brand, but I am definitely interested.
