It’s been awhile since I’ve swatched any on Writing Whimsy but I actually really love Avon’s nail polishes, in particular the Gel Finish lineup. I tried out two shades last year and loved both, including one that is one of my favourite white polishes ever. Recently I received three new shades to test out from the lineup, and those are the Avon Gel Finish in Rain Washed, Nudeitude and Mint To Be.
Avon Gel Finish Rain Washed is a dusty pastel periwinkle blue creme. The formula is quite runny and sheer, but it actually ended up being opaque and quite nice with 2 coats (except that ring finger…could have used a third).
Avon Gel Finish Nudeitude is a pale beige nude creme. The formula is quite runny and thin, but it mostly evens out with two coats, which is what I used, but next time I might go for three.
Avon Gel Finish Mint To Be is a pastel mint green creme polish. It was also a bit thin, but it did even out with two coats and I loved the final result!
Overall, I was a bit surprised by the Avon Gel Finish shades I tested out this time because the formula was a lot thinner than I remembered but they did all still end up mostly opaque and very glossy. My favourite is definitely Mint To Be, such a great Spring and Summer shade! Have you tried any polish from Avon?
