Hey, it’s been a little while since I did an Avon review! I think it’s time for one of those! I do have some great makeup from the brand I will get around to sharing, but in the meantime here’s some skincare! Because it’s important that the thing you have under your makeup looks alright too. Or you can just buy really expensive full coverage foundation? But Avon Elements Youth Restoring Multi-Purpose Lotion + Serum* may be a better choice.
Avon Elements Youth Restoring Multi-Purpose Lotion + Serum comes in a convenient and hygienic pump format and works to improve texture, dry skin, large pores, and fine lines. To be honest, I don’t suffer from many of those issues (although I wish this could make my forehead lines go appear–but we’ll pretend nobody notices those and I’m not getting old). However, I have liked using this lotion over the last couple weeks. My biggest complaint is that although I like the pump idea, an actual pump is a ton of product so I have to be really careful how much I let out.
The instructions suggest using the Avon Elements Youth Restoring Multi-Purpose Lotion + Serum on your neck and chest too, and because I always get too much product I make sure to spread it on those areas as well. Honestly, that’s probably a good thing because I want to help moisturize and take care of those areas, and this forces me too!
Avon Elements Youth Restoring Multi-Purpose Lotion + Serum is incredibly hydrating and nice on my skin. However I do feel like it leaves my skin slightly sticky, although that does go away. I think that my skin has gotten slightly softer while using it, but that is so hard to quantify. Overall, I have liked using this product but it hasn’t absolutely changed my life. I do think it would be a good choice for a winter moisturizer, especially if you have more mature skin.
What’s your favourite moisturizer to use in the morning? I suck at morning skincare, but testing this out has made me a tiny bit better!
