Although I’ll never be a fan of the removal process, I do love adding some sparkle to my nails, and the new Avon Dazzlers Top Coats are a great way to do it. They are available in five different shades, and I was sent three of them: Disco Ball*, Show Stopper Copper* and Va Va Violet* to test out and swatch for you.
[Let’s pretend there’s a swatch of Avon Dazzlers Top Coat in Disco Ball here]
Sadly, as you may have guessed by my little comment above, I have no swatch of the first of the three shades, Avon Dazzlers Top Coat in Disco Ball. But, it’s not my fault! This is a really pretty silver with only one thing wrong with it as far as I could tell…my bottle came without a brush. I do get press samples, so I didn’t bother requesting another one. However, I figured you can get a pretty good idea of what this polish would look like based on the other two swatches and the bottle.
I had no issues with the other two shades, starting with the Avon Dazzlers Top Coat in Show Stopper Copper. This is a coppery-orange glitter with larger hexes and little ones as well. Although this is definitely a topper–I’m wearing it over another white Avon polish–it gives good coverage even with just one coat. The glitters are suspended in a clear base with a slightly thicker formula.
I can’t resist a purple, so my eyes went first to the Avon Dazzlers Top Coat in Va Va Violet. It’s a bright purple version of the other two shades, though slightly less jam-packed with one coat than the copper. The formula is still great and I can’t think of a single shade a purple glitter wouldn’t look pretty over. CAN YOU?
I guess that’s all I have to say about glitter today. Of course you can always check out this fantastic guest post with 26 different glitter polish looks if you need some inspiration!
