Well here it is, another super late monthly favourites! Don’t worry, sometime between now and next April you’ll get my monthly empties as well. My April Favourites have a bit more makeup in them although I spent so much time testing different products I didn’t have a chance to fall in love with too many enough to consider them a favourite. That said, I really love all of these and would recommend any of them.
I wasn’t really sure if I was ever going to bother doing anything with my brows, but Benefit Gimme Brow* (review here) convinced me otherwise. It’s just so easy to use and the results are really natural. It’s a bit pricey but I will be very tempted to replace when it’s done.
I also fell in love with the Smashbox Halo Long Wear Blush in Peachy Dream* which I haven’t had a chance to review yet but should be up this week. It is pretty cool as you “grind” the blush up before you use it, and the peachy-coral shade is really pretty and long-wearing for summer.
I also tested out my first full-coverage foundation, and I was really impressed by the Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation in Ivory* (review here) which does a fantastic job getting rid of imperfections and can basically double as a concealer for lazy days.
Another coral product I’m planning to feature in an upcoming post is the Revlon Colorstay Gel Envy in Pocket Aces* (review here) a really pretty, bright, long-lasting shade from a line I desperately want to try more shades from.
In addition to eyebrows, I was pretty nervous to try out a hair oil but I fell in love with the Dove Pure Care Dry Oil* (reviews here), I loved the whole line but the dry oil itself was the star. Not only does it smell amazing, but it doesn’t leave my hair greasy at all. Instead it’s soft and manageable.
Finally, I couldn’t resist including one of my favourite spring perfumes, Anna Sui La Vie de Boheme* (review here) a fragrance with a beautiful bottle and a lovely, sparkling scent as well.
Well those are the products I’ve been loving this month for my April Favourites! I realize I’ve been a bit neglectful on the blog lately, and I am sadly separated from my gorgeous new lights, but hopefully I’ll have more consistent posting going forward. I know I always say that but… life, I guess. Let me know if you’ve tried any of these products and what you’ve been loving this month.
