I’m just going to keep sharing spring launches until the weather corporates. Annabelle Cosmetics Spring 2015 launches include new shades of the Biggy Bronzer and Blushon, as well as permanently adding the Lipsies to their line.
The Annabelle Biggy Zebra Bronzer in Matte Gold* is a GIANT bronzer for those sick of shimmer. There are three shades in the pan, but I swirl them all together to get the swatched colour when applying. It is soft without being powdery, and it can be build up on the skin as well as easily blended in for a natural finish. It work as a bronzer, but also to add a little bit of a contour. Plus, with a bronzer this size, you can apply it to the rest of your body as well and never run out.
I had just read Rae’s post on TheNotice sharing the five new Blushon shades when my own Annabelle Blushon in Lotus* arrived in the mail, and I was thrilled. This is a very silky blush with a natural finish that like the bronzer is pigmented but not instantly overwhelming. Lotus is a lavender-leaning matte pink that is perfect for spring and did a pretty good job lasting throughout the day.
There are twelve permanent shades of Annabelle Lipsies*, and I tried out two, starting with Cherry. I instantly adored the scent which reminds me of cherry Jolly Ranchers, but it wasn’t until I tried Lychee the next day that I realized they were all scented after their name. Even better, delicious scent, but no flavour! As you may remember, I really dislike flavoured lip products. These tinted balms come cute packaging that might not look really expensive but has the two most important features to me–no sharpening, and it’s easy to tell between shades, which is important because I now want them all.
The Annabelle Lipsies in Cherry is a sheer cherry red, while the Annabelle Lipsies in Lychee is a milky nude shade. Although slightly buildable, your natural lip colour will be visible in both cases. I found Lychee wasn’t very flattering, but I did love the look of Cherry! These definitely feel like moisturizing, comfortable balms that have a great glossy finish.
In the above look I’m wearing all my new Annabelle Cosmetics Spring 2015 launches, including the Biggy Bronzer in Matte Gold, Blushon in Lotus and the Annabelle Lipsies in Cherry. The end result is a pretty, natural look perfect for Spring. It might even convince me to start wearing bronzer!
When it comes to the Annabelle Cosmetics Spring 2015 launches, I have no complaints. Affordable price and excellent quality from a Canadian brand. I’m absolutely loving my Annabelle Lipsies in Cherry and I want to go smell them all and complete my collection, and the powder products are both smooth and lovely.
