Earlier this week I shared two fantastic new brow products from Urban Decay, but they aren’t the only brand celebrating brows this fall. There are four affordable Annabelle Cosmetics Fall 2015 brow options at the drug store, which means odds are at least one of brow products–all under $10 CAN–is is a match for you!
Personally, I’ve always been a bit impatient when it comes to filling in my brows with powder, but it’s hard to resist this adorable Annabelle Brow-To-Go Brow Shaping Kit*. It comes with two powder shades, as well as a wax, and it’s perfect for travel because it also includes a little brush and tweezers.
Annabelle Brow-To-Go Brow Shaping Kit in Light/Medium, which is definitely too light for my brows, but it is also available in Medium/Dark. The powders are really silky and very easy to blend, and while I wouldn’t use the brush or tweezers except for a touch up, it’s nice that they are all in one little package.
The new, dual-ended Annabelle Brow Show* is available in two colours, Light (pictured) and Medium. This is a jumbo pencil you do have to sharpen, but it’s very easy to use since you can flip between sides. Obviously it is the wrong shade for me, but I actually really like it. I thought that the Brow Liner would be difficult to use because it’s so large, but the formula is light and powdery enough that it works.
The really magical side of the Annabelle Brow Show is definitely the Highlighter. It is a pale peachy matte shade that is incredibly creamy and great for using under the brow. I wish the brow shade was a match for me because honestly, if Annabelle sold the highlighter side separately, I would definitely pick one up!
I’ve shared the Annabelle Stay Sharp Lipliner and Eyeliner before, but for Fall 2015 there is a brand new option in the same awesome packaging, the Annabelle Stay Sharp Long-Wearing Brow Liner*. This is a skinny eyebrow pencil that sharpens as you turn the cap, so you’ll always have a perfect point for applying it and getting those fine brow hairs.
I have the Annabelle Stay Sharp Long-Wearing Brow Liner in Ebony and Taupe, but there are four other shades options. While Taupe (a cool-toned, light brown) is the second lightest, Ebony (a cool-toned, near black) is the darkest, so I knew that would be the best match for my dark brows.
The Annabelle Stay Sharp Long-Wearing Brow Liner in Ebony was a great match for my brows colour-wise, and the formula was the perfect level of pigmented without looking like I used black eyeliner instead (I believe that’s what my very first “brow pencil” was…)
I love the long-lasting Annabelle Stay Sharp Long-Wearing Brow Liner formula but there is one thing I don’t like. ANNABELLE WHERE IS MY SPOOLIE? I am so lazy when it comes to brows and I feel like having a spoolie on one end of a brow pencil is an absolute must. Especially with a dark shade, it does have to be blending out with a spoolie, so I stole the one from the next brow product, but I wish this had it as well. Packaging complaint aside, this is a great product.
The final option from the Annabelle Cosmetics Fall 2015 Brow Extravaganza is of course, a much-loved skinny brow pencil. The Annabelle Skinny Brow Liner* is probably the format most people reach for these days, with a very fine point that twists up and a spoolie (or, a comb that basically functions as a spoolie) on the other end.
The Annabelle Skinny Brow Liner is a very precise pencil that is perfect for achieving a natural look. It’s currently available in 3 shades, including Universal Taupe, Universal Auburn, and of course, my favourite Universal Ebony.
If you’re looking to compare the Annabelle Skinny Brow Liner to the Annabelle Stay Sharp Long-Wearing Brow Liner, you not only get half the shade options, you also get about half the product (0.25 g vs 0.09 g). Both products are waterproof and very long-lasting but the Stay Sharp is creamier and more pigmented. While both products are great, I do prefer the Annabelle Skinny Brow Liner because I think the harder formula and more precise tip gives me the most flawless application.
Will you be picking up any of these new Annabelle Cosmetics Fall 2015 brow launches?
